Uncover app – The Reading Tracker every bookstagrammar needs.

If you are a bookstagrammar, then Uncover is the perfect app for you. Just like a reader will always have a bookmark with their current read, this app is the accessory for a bookstagrammar.

As a bookstagrammar, we are always faced with the task of creating templates, whether this is monthly wrap up templates or currently reading templates. Uncover App is the first app with automatically generated templates! This feature saves me so much time. With a simple screenshot, I can immediately share my current read. It even has hashtags showing what the book is about. Books are added to the monthly wrap up templates as soon as they are marked ‘finished’.

These templates are aestheticallyΒ  pleasing and allows readers to spend more time reading and less time searching book covers and creating templates. This feature is personally one of my favourites.

Mood readers face the difficulty of choosing what to read next, but Uncover has found a solution. With different reading challenges, readers will be able to choose what to read next and be rewarded by unlocking a spot in the reading challenge. Screenshot and share these on your social media platforms to share your progress.

#hashtags

are one of the things a bookstagrammar uses the most. From searching a specific trope, genre, author to even narrowing it down to the age group.

Uncover allows users to search books, genres, tropes and age groups with hashtagas. With a huge database of hashtags, you can even search #pirates and a list of books will appear. I find this feature useful when someone asks for a recommendation about a certain topic, then I quickly turn to Uncover.

Readers might have limited bookshelves, but Uncover has unlimited collections (virtual bookshelves). Whether you want to keep track of owned books, favourite series, books to read or books with specific themes or elements, you can create and personalize them. Do you have some books that are a guilty pleasure and you would rather not want anyone seeing them, simply set your collection to ‘private’. Follow collections made by other users or create your own.

Bookstagrammars are always searching for the new releases and are eager to add them to their TBR. On Uncover, users can stay up to date with new releases and also see what books are popular in the app.
There are some amazing titles released daily, and you just stumbled upon a new release and want to read it. As you head over to Uncover, you don’t find it when searching. Good news! You can manually add books by going to ‘settings’. You can upload a book cover, author name, book description and the page count. Adding ISBN numbers and publication dates are optional.

Often times bookstagrammars enjoyed a book and need recommendations for a similar book. When users open the specific book, a caption of ‘You may also like this’ is featured at the bottom. Once you click on this, a list of similar books will appear. This feature will also be helpful to bookstagrammars when asked for recommendations.

Upon opening the app, a feed will appear. Users can scroll and browse what the Uncover community is reading. This will help bookstagrammars to keep up to date with any book trends and also to relax while casually scrolling.

Sometimes star ratings are very stressful and readers just want to return to the joy of reading. Uncover focuses on bringing back the joy of reading and instead of star ratings, there is a ‘heart’ option. When a user loved a book, they can simply ‘heart’ it, and this will show other readers how loved the book is. This allows a user to enjoy a book more.

Uncover App is free to download on Google Playstore. The iOS version is currently in progress and users can visit the website to subscribe to the iOS version and get notified via email once it releases.
